Listen to some of our music from our choirs and special music.

The Chancel Choir leads the congregation in traditional worship service through hymn and responsive singing, as well as selected anthems that span the range of musical styles and periods.

Through our music ministry, the Chancel Choir brings praise to God through song, and believes in the power of music to open  a heart that has been hardened by life’s disappointments or a soul saddened by loss.  When words are not enough, music is often the key that unlocks the heart to the Holy Spirit.

The Chancel Choir brings the best it can offer God in weekly worship, and also presents special choral works throughout the year.  Our calling is to use our musical gifts to tell about God’s abundant Love.  The Chancel Choir provides for the mutual support and fulfillment of its members.   We are a family that seeks to serve as ministers of God’s Grace for the church and each other.

The dedication of the Chancel Choir to the highest musical standards, and consistent musical leadership in worship, requires a high level of commitment from each member.  This commitment to singing in the Chancel Choir is a commitment to the music ministry of Covenant Presbyterian Church.  We serve out of a sense of gratitude to God for what he has done in our life, and dedicate our singing to His Glory.
