Pastor Anton Reginald

Director of Youth Ministry

Anton grew up in the Caribbean where—at the age of eleven— he placed his faith in Christ as his personal Savior and Lord. He was an active teen in his local church, and sometime later, journeyed across the Atlantic to Chicago—to study at the Moody Bible Institute. He has had the privilege of serving Christ over the past decade as a youth minister in Illinois, New Hampshire and Iowa. As the youth director at Covenant, he is really excited to work with families to serve our church and Christ! It was during his final semester in college that he met his future wife, Robin. They have been blessed with four wonderful children: Shirley, Grace, Adam, and Andy. Anton enjoys spending time with his family and looks forward to exploring the beauty and attractions that Omaha offers. He enjoys movies, a few TV shows, sports, traveling and vacations. Cindy Waldo

Director of Congregational Care

Cindy was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa where she learned the importance of faith and church family, the value of hard work, and the Golden Rule. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and Psychology and became Assistant Manager in Hospital Quality Management. Shortly after her husband was diagnosed with cancer, she experienced bereavement first hand through his tragic death after 24 years of being together. God led Cindy to a new career path where she could do His work and where her spiritual foundation became even more grounded. She returned to school to obtain a Masters in Social Work and a Masters of Arts in Gerontology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO). Her faith played an important role in the decision to become a social worker. Exercising Christian virtues of faith, hope, and love strengthens her as a social worker. Cindy is a licensed Mental Health Therapist in the state of Nebraska and believes the Bible is an excellent resource for her profession, such as teaching a man to fish versus giving him a fish. Social work is not enabling but helping a person learn how to help themselves. One of Cindy’s favorite scripture is: "You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book." (Psalm 56:8). Cindy joined Covenant in February of 2008.
