Children Special Events

Covenant Children Ministries holds quarterly events throughout the year.  On Easter Saturday each year we hold the annual Easter Egg Hunt at 10:00 in the Multi-Purpose Room.  Children of all ages are invited to collect candy-filled eggs.  Dozens of prize winning tickets are also hidden in eggs.  Entertainment for the whole family takes place before the event.  Cookies and lemonade are provided for everyone at the conclusion of the hunt.  The next Hunt will take place on Saturday April 7, 2012 at 10:00 am. The Easter Bunny is expected to join in the fun.

Every year Vacation Bible School visits Covenant for children age 4 through fifth grade.  “Pandemania VBS” was held June 13-17, 2011 from 9:00am till noon daily.  There is never a cost to enroll. VBS is open to the public.  Watch for details about next summer’s adventure!

The annual Pumpkin Party will take place on Sunday October 30, 2011 from 4:00-6:00 pm in the Multi-Purpose Room.  Children of all ages are invited to enjoy playing up to 30 carnival style games while winning prizes and receiving “safe” candy.  Non-scary costumes are welcome or just come as you are to this once a year event. 

Advent Family Fun Night will take place on Wednesday December 14, 2011.  A free Lasagna Dinner for the whole family will start the evening off at 5:30 pm in the downstairs Dining Area.  After dinner children of all ages are invited to go from room to room where Christmas arts & crafts are waiting for individual creativity to make them come to life.

Other events such as our Veggie Tale movie nights take place during the year.  Watch for dates and times as Big Idea sends out the latest in Bob & Larry adventures.
